7000 Codes (Medical)

This signal is used to signify a medical problem in which First-Aid will be needed. When calling a Signal 7000, color codes are used to indicate the severity of the medical emergency, and alphabetical codes are used to advise responding parties on the condition experienced by the patient.

Color Codes

Yellow Guest or ambassador presents with a non-critical medical problem. First-Aid should report to the patient.
Orange Guest or ambassador needs Emergency Medical Services for evaluation and transportation. May only be called by a member of the First-Aid Team
Red Guest or ambassador presents with a major medical problem. First-Aid will report to the patient, and Security Control will dispatch Emergency Medical Services

B Bite/sting (bug, animal, or human)
C Cardiac (arrest, chest pain, CPR)
E Exposure (burns, chemical, electrical shock)
F Unresponsive/unconscious (faint, etc.)
G Guest Assistance (Band Aid, Tylenol, etc.)
H Heat-Related (heat exhaustion, heat stroke)
I Illness (any illness, motion sickness)
R Respiratory (asthma, difficulty breathing, etc.)
T Traumatic injury (trip and fall, cut, bleed, etc.)
U Unknown
W Water related incident (near water, drowning, water ingestion)
X Seizure


Weather Conditions

Blue All clear. Rides open.
Green Inclement weather approaching or rain w/o lightning. Rides open.
Yellow Lightning within 20 miles. Weather watch in effect. Skyride closes. All other rides open rain permitting. Unit 199 discretion for all other rides. Unit 199 will be updated when lightning within 12 miles.
Orange Lightning within_6 miles. Designated class 1 coasters and water rides close. All other rides remain open rain permitting. Weather watch in effect.
Red Lightning within 5 miles. All outdoor rides closed. Team members in elevated and remote water ride positions seek shelter. Shows in outdoor theaters hold for lightning. Weather watch in effect.
Purple Lightning within 3 miles. All outdoor rides closed. Team members in unprotected positions required to seek shelter. Weather watch in effect.
Black Tornado. All outdoor rides closed. Trams closed. Team members report to designated locations and accounted for by leadership. Weather watch in effect
