I have had the scanner for 4 months now....I originally had a 780. Great scanner over all. I have an antenna
mounted in the attic due to regulations in my townhouse complex but this unit still picks up VHF, UHF and 800
systems really well. My only complaint is that it doesn't show the PL/DPL on the screen like the 780/ Other than
that I love this radio and will keep it in my shack for aling time.

I bought my first trunking radio 4 yrs ago, the pro-92. At first it seemed that id did the job,
but seem real week for picking up vhf and 800 if away from my house. It should have been just the oppisite.
I finally had enough and bought an mtx 8000 b-3 portable, what a major difference. Later that year I sold my
b-3 and bought a b-7. I really wanted to try another trunk scanner so I could listen to everything I needed
and not just 800. Just after christmass I purchased a BC785D and a new computer, and It does about as well as
my b-7 portable. There are a few places my portable does better but it's a step in the right direction. As far
as my pro-92, I still have it but almost totally gave up trying to trunk with it, even with an external antenna.
Some days it seems to want to pick up vhf ok and then there are other days it doesn't.

better than scanstar software. the best interface and very easy to use. i highly recommend this for organizing your trunk banks on the 785D or 250D. has great sorting and cut/paste/move delete capabilities.

Very low learning curve. virtual control is wonderful but needs some work. otherwise I would rate 10.

This programs in my humble opinion deserves a 10 - but having never had any program of a ten as a base point it get's a nine. A great program, ease of use and functional.

Sometimes when u try to id a talk group and the press ok it goes back to no id on the talk group.

I believe this software would work with any Trunking radio, as long as you have VB 6.0 or higher installed in Windows.

An excellent utility leaving only the imagination of the user on how one can exploit its many uses. Rated a nine as v2.9.0 is supposedly the last version to support the BC245xlt - hopefully support will be restored and it'll get 10 stars.

You all did a good job. Alot of these guys & gals expect too much when it comes to software and instructions. If I can muddle around with it and get the hang of it then any of these prissy prisses should be able to also. And I am by far the smartest guy on the planet. Clean and simple makes it very effective. I would give it a 10, if it would update the ID ALPHA tags on the scanner itself.

Wish it had help built-in, but for the price, who's complaining? Excellent program that does what it's supposed to with no muss, no fuss. Packs a lot of features and works well with Windows XP. Great resource for those of us who own TrunkTrackers.

I could never get this working even though all of my other trunking programs worked. Dose NOT work for Pro-1053. Download did not say you had to have the certen scanners listed in the notes.
