US Scanning Mailing ListsWelcome to the US Scanning Mailing Lists article. While RR is a great place to find frequencies, on occasion you will run into that one business, amateur or other frequency that no one on the state forums recognizes, and is not found on the database. This is where a dedicated mailing list is an invaluable aid. Since it concentrates on one area or region (unlike RR which is much broader), you may find others that don't frequent RR but are active here, and has the information you need. Depending on how the list is set up, you may also find programming files for various scanners in the files area of the list. Yahoo groups - which comprise the large majority of this list - has an unpleasant habit of deleting groups that have no activity after a period of time, or for other reasons. In addition, this list is hardly comprehensive. If you know of or belong to a mailing list that is not listed here, please consider adding it. [edit] Regional Mailing Lists
