Yamhill County Fire Tone Outs
Fire call tap outs can be heard on either VHF frequency 163.2500 (CTCSS 131.8) or Low Band frequency 46.4200 (CTCSS 110.9). These two frequencies are patched together (Multicast). Transmissions from these frequencies are specific to which agency they are going out to. For example you will not hear a tap for West Valley Fire from the "Central" repeater (High Heaven)...
For McMinnville, Yamhill, Amity, Lafayette and Carlton- fire tap outs are dispatched off of the Central site.(High Heaven)
For Sheridan and Willamina- tap outs are dispatched from the West site.(Doane Creek)
And For Newberg, Dundee and Dayton- tap outs are dispatched from the Mountain Top East site.(Bald Peak)

YCOM dispatches for the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office, McMinnville Police and Fire, Yamhill Police and Fire, Carlton Police and Fire, Lafayette Fire, Dayton Fire, Amity Fire, Sheridan Fire, and West Valley Fire (Willamina).
- Newberg-Dundee 9-1-1 Communications Center ("Station 82","82") - This is the PSAP for the cities of Newberg and Dundee. They dispatch for Newberg Fire, Newberg-Dundee Police and Dundee Fire.
Radio Systems
Yamhill County is comprised of 4 separate radio systems.
- UHF Simulcast Network
This system is used for enroute and on scene dispatch for various county fire, sheriff and police agencies. There are 5 simulcast frequencies that cover the entire county. This system also has many one site base repeaters used for fireground communications and mutual aide communications. There are also several simplex frequencies associated with this system.
- UHF MPT-1327 Trunking System
This trunking system is a two site Tait MPT1327 network. It is mainly used by McMinnville Police and Fire, along with Carlton and Lafayette Fire, McMinnville High School and Linfield College security.
- VHF Paging System
This is a transmit only system for fire tap outs. It has one VHF frequency and one Low Band frequency. The State Fire net frequency is also listed under the license for this system.
- 800Mhz Motorola SmartNet System
This system is owned by the Washington County Consolidated Communications Agency used by Washington and Clackamas County and now the cities of Newberg and Dundee. The old 800Mhz system has now become a site of the WCCCA system.
