System News
On 8/24/11, a change was made removing 863.0000 from the North Zone and adding 861.5000 to the North Zone. I've been monitoring the North Zone for a week (8/24-9/1) using UniTrunker. There has been no activity on 861.5000, and there still remains plenty of activity on 863.0000.

Fire Fleetmap Changes
In April 2016, the San Diego RCS fire fleetmap underwent major changes during a reprogramming for the system rebanding process. Zones 1 and 2 were assigned to Heartland FCA Dispatch and titled the Central Zone. Zones 3 and 4 were given to Northcom dispatch and called North Zone. Zone 5 talkgroup 5A through 5J were given to Escondido Fire dispatch, while 5K through 6P were given to SDFD dispatch and called Metro Zone. Monta Vista ECC kept zone 10 and added zone 11 to the County Fire Authority/East Zone.
