Background Information
The Worcester County Department of Emergency Services maintains a a trunked radio system for use by all county and municipal departments within the county. The system was placed online in 2002 and currently serves the following organizations:

System Information
The system is designed and maintained by Harris. The ten channel three site simulcast system is a Harris EDACS Networked system using a combination of analog and ProVoice with select usage of DES encryption. The system is fully networked to the Ocean City trunked radio system with the Worcester County simulcast cell and Ocean City site functioning as two discrete sites functioning as one networked system.
