It appears that Superior Amubulance and Illinois Medicar have switched to the A-Beep digital NXDN trunked system. (9/2015)

Site 9 Lockport

This site is under license WPUN789. All of the frequencies have emission designations for narrow FM and NXDN.

(LCN values described here are listed as of 2016-July-27)

  • LCN 01, 463.700
  • LCN 05, 463.450
  • LCN 16, 463.525
  • LCN 20, 461.250

They are all NXDN48 trunked, no longer LTR. Perhaps they are part of A Beep's Diga Talk.

LCN 12, 461.550 -- frequency is also licensed to Valley View School under WQWZ578. DMR traffic heard here. A Beep license does not have a designator for DMR. Valley View license does. Considering the distance between them is only 6.5 miles it would seem this frequency would not be in use for A Beep.

LCN 04, 461.800 - unknown, not heard, no LTR pulses

Another frequency on the license, 463.575 is also unknown.

LCN 08, 463.300 is correct. LTR analyzer does not show all trunks busy but also does not show free LCNs.

One of the frequencies on the license, 462.125 appears to stand on it's own, conventional with DCS 324 and it also seems to be a little low, around 462.1245. (info 2016-July-27)
