Adams County EMS ambulances have 3 separate designations, based on their level of service at the time of dispatch. Those designations are:
- Squad - Basic Life Support only crew; 2 EMTs
- Ambulance - Intermediate Life Support crew; 1 EMT and 1 AEMT OR 2 AEMTs
- Medic - Advanced Life Support crew; 1 Paramedic and 1 crew member of any level
