American Medical Response (AMR) is a nation-wide private Ambulance company that was created in 1992 through the consolidation of many private smaller Ambulance providers is multiple states in the US.  AMR is headquartered in Colorado and currently is in 40 of the 50 states.  AMR provides Non-Emergency/Non-Medical stretcher and wheelchair transport, as well as, Emergency and Non-Emergency (routine) ALS/BLS/Critical Care transport.  AMR also provides Emergency 911 first-response in 38 of the 40 states they are currently operating in.
