Despite my objections, all of Austin County is moving to the 800mhz trunked Harris County Radio Network (STARNet) by the end of 2009. I owned 3 of the largest towers in this county, offered to let them on my towers for free, and even designed a trunked VHF system for them. Yet it seems they were still assimilated by Motorola. Resistance Is Futile...

We should start seeing some new talkgroups on the Hempstead site soon, and several small towers have been strategically erected around the county by Trico Tower Co over the last year or so.

All of Austin County is moving to the 800mhz trunked Harris County Radio Network (STARNet) by the end of 2009.

Some new talkgroups on the Hempstead site should be showing up soon, and several small towers have been strategically erected around the county by Trico Tower Co over the last year or so.
