This is a partial list. There are many two way radio manufacturers in China.

As of September, 2014 none of the manufacturers listed below produce products that are FCC certified for use in the USA on FRS (Part 95B) or MURS (Part 95J) frequencies.

Two manufacturers, Wouxun and TERA (Powerwerx) have products (FCC ID WVTWOUXUN08, 2ACK8TR505) that are GMRS (Part 95A) certified.

Several of the manufacturers listed below produce products that are FCC Part 90 certified for use on Public Safety and Industrial/Business frequencies.

FCC grantee codes (first three or five digits of FCC ID) are shown in parentheses.

Programming Software

Many of the manufacturers listed above have their own programming software available on their company web sites.

  • CHIRP programming software
    • Note: This software can download conventional data from the RRDB with a paid subscription. See this page for more information
    • Note: Cables bought from RT Systems Inc. may be incompatible with CHIRP. Please see the CHIRP wiki for more information.
