Cape Breton Regional Municipality has begun using standard zone and numbering scheme for its fire stations. Note that stations dispatched by CBRM Communications, but which are not part of Cape Breton county (example Ross Ferry, Ingonish, Ingonish Beach, Loch Lomond, Baddeck), do not use this numbering scheme.


Station numbers and zones are as follows:

Regional

  • 37 - HAZMAT - Alpha Group - CBRM HAZMAT has been absorbed by Stations 1 & 2 Sydney


Dispatched by CBRM (In Other County)

  • Baddeck - Victoria County (Communities bordering Cape Breton County)
  • Ingonish - Victoria County
  • Ingonish Beach - Victoria County
  • Loch Lomond - Richmond County
  • Ross Ferry - Victoria County

Ambulance

Ambulance services are provided by Emergency Health Services (EHS) (NS).
