| − | Custer SD is the main municipal fire department in Custer County. Pringle is the second fire department in the county. Custer Fire also operates the only EMS service in the county. Custer Fire and EMS and SAR operate of the County Fire and EMS analog channel of 158.925 most of the time. Custer County Search and Rescue provide back up to the Fire and EMS department when needed, and provide search and rescue in the county. Custer County SAR dispaches and operates off of 158.925 but they have a talk around/mobile repeater frequency of 155.205 and another portable repeater frequency of 159.23250.
