California State Park Identifiers

In June 2014 the State Park System changed their radio call signs. They used to identify by the Ranger's Badge Number. The higher the badge number, the newer the Ranger is. They now identify with call signs that identify their District, Sector, and Type of Unit.

The General configuration is as follows:

First Digit indicates Dispatch Center?

1= Norcom 2= Surcom

The Second Digit indicates District (1X, 2X)

The Letter indicates Sector (A-Z)

The last two Digits indicate Rank or Function

01= District Superintendent 02= Sector Superintendent 03-09= Additional Superintendents 11-19= Sector Supervising Rangers 21-59= Sector Rangers
