Unit Number All public safety officers have individual numbers which are the same regardless of their assignment
1 - 19	Campus police officers (sworn officers)
20 - 29	Public Safety Command Staff
41 - 60	Student Patrol (student security)

Department of Public Safety Ten-Code

The university uses the same Ten-code as Black Hawk County (IA), with the addition of 10-200 - Special Assignment.
