Welcome to the Front Range Communications Consortium (FRCC) collaboration article, a Trunked Radio System located in Colorado.
This is where you, the user, may index any articles you develop for scanning related topics for this Trunked Radio System.

The Front Range Communications Consortium also known as the "FRCC" is a collaboration between Adams County, Weld County and Boulder County. Other entities are also involved.

The FRCC was created out of frustration with the funding of the State of Colorado DTRS system, and the operators of the FRCC felt that they would be better served by combining resources to serve their users.

As of this writing, most existing DTRS talkgroups for those users are active on FRCC maintaining the same talkgroup numbers. It is planned for seamless coverage between both the FRCC and DTRS so that users on both systems can maintain a level of interoperability.
