Hot (slang):

  • is a slang term used to refer to a situation when a radio-operator does not know that the radio's mic is open and the radio is transmitting. (i.e. Units on the air check for a "hot" mic.)


  • is a slang-term used by pilots. In context; attack geometry will result in rollout in front of the target; or on a leg of the CAP pointing toward the anticipated threats (A/A). Ordnance employment authorized, expected, or completed (A/G).
