Misc System Information

• This system is currently undergoing a frequency conversion, which will make it compliant with Nextel Rebanding requirements.

Once final approval has been given by the FCC, the 866-868 MHz frequencies will be dropped from the system. This should be taking place within the next 90 days.

5/13/08 -- Jasper is requesting additional sites and frequencies to help extend the abilities of the P25 system to the remaining service area of Newton County ambulance. This will add 3 additional sites.
