The Municipal District of Lesser Slave River is a region of north-central Alberta, north of the city of Edmonton. It is bordered by the Municipal District of Opportunity and Northern Sunrise County to the north; the Municipal District of Big Lakes to the west; Woodlands County and Westlock County to the south; and Athabasca County to the east.
