Meade County Radio Guide

Meade County uses a mixture of the South Dakota State Digital System and analog repeaters owned by Meade Co Meade Co is dispatched out of Sturgis under the call sign 49-1.


Meade County Sheriff

Meade Co Sheriff mainly uses two analog VHF repeaters. One is located in Sturgis at 155.655 and the other is located is Faith, SD at 155.760. Meade SO also uses TG 14560 on the state system intermittently with their VHF repeaters.

City Of Sturgis

Sturgis handles most if no all of its radio traffic on analog repeaters. Sturgis Police use their main dispach channel 158.77500 for day to day operations. During times of influx such as during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Sturgis police may use their 3 other analog channels listed in the database. Sturgis Police may also use their digital channels listed in the database but that is a rare occurrence. Sturgis Fire and EMS use Meade Co CD 155.94000 for their dispatching. Sturgis Fire and EMS may also use their digital channels listed in the database but that is a rare occurrence.

City Of Faith

For Dispatching City of Faith Police will either use the analog channels listed under Meade County Sheriff, or they will use Meade Co Law 1 listed in the SD Digital database. Faith Fire and Rescue with either use 155.880 Meade Enning analog repeater, or they will use Meade Law 1 on the SD Digital system.
