Missouri Department of Corrections

There are four divisions within the Department. The management of felons and selected misdemeanants committed by the court are divided between the Division of Probation and Parole and the Division of Adult Institutions. The Division of Offender Rehabilitative Services provides program services to felons assigned to probation, parole or prison. All staff related activities and special program services are provided through the Division of Human Services.

Male Facilities

Community Release Centers

Custody Level 1: Kansas City Community Release Center and St. Louis Community Release Center. Offenders commonly refer to these facilities as the "Honor Centers".

Minimum Security

Custody Level 2:

Mayrville Treatment Center, Ozark Correctional Center, Tipton Correctional Center, Western Reception, and Diagnostic & Correctional Center

Medium Security

Custody Level 3: 

Algoa Correctional Center, Boonville Correctional Center, Central Missouri Correctional Center, and Western Missouri Correctional Center

High-Medium Security

Custody Level 4: 

Farmington Correctional Center, Missouri Eastern Correctional Center, Morberly Correctional Center and Northeast Correctional Center

Maximum Security

Custody Level 5: 

Crossroads Correctional Center, Fulton Reception & Diagnostic Center, Jefferson City Correctional Center and Potosi Correctional Center.

Custody Level 1: 

Kansas City Community Release Center and St. Louis Community Release Center

Minimum to High Security

Custody Levels 1-5: 

Chillicothe Correctional Center, Women's Eastern Reception, Diagnositic & Correctional Center.

Other

There are also a limited number of custody level 2 minimum security units located within higher custody facilities. These are located at Moberly Correctional Center, Centeral Missouri Correctional Center, Fulton Reception & Diagnostic Center, Western Reception & Diagnostic and Correctional Center, Housing Unit #7 of Jefferson City Correctional Center, Camp Hawthorn and Potosi Correctional Center
