Monitoring NXDN / NEXEDGE

No scanner can monitor this digital format by itself but it can be monitored using software decoders DSDPlus or DSD - Digital Speech Decoder fed by a scanner with a discriminator tap, or via many SDRs.

Reportedly the Whistler TRX-1 and TRX-2 will be able to decode NXDN, when a free firmware upgrade is applied. The firmware is not yet available as of this writing. The announcement can be found on the Whistler website here
