REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF NIAGARA FIRE STATION AND ACTIVE EQUIPMENT LIST

The Regional Municipality of Niagara is a Region in Southern Ontario, which borders The City Hamilton to the North West, Haldimand County to the South West and the Niagara River and US. Border to the East. The Region lies between Lake Ontario to the North and Lake Erie to the South. The Regional Municipality is comprised of 12 distinct Municipalities, each with their own Fire Protection. (station and apparatus listed below in alphabetical order with exception of some administrative vehicles ie. Chiefs, Deputy Chiefs). There are 2 Fire Dispatch Centres in the Region. One is at St. Catharines Fire Headquarters XJI-81, and the other is at Niagara Falls Fire Headquarters XJF-300. Niagara Falls dispatches only their respective city, while St. Catharines dispatches the rest of the Region as well as Haldimand County.

NOTE: When a Unit comes on the air, they will say the name of their Municipality first and then the unit number. ie. "Fort Erie Pump 1, Lincoln Pump 3".

NOTE: Some Municipalites may use shorter versions, such as Niagara Falls. ie "Falls Rescue 1, or Port Colborne ie. "Port Engine 2".

NOTE: All Fire Services in the Region are dispatched by truck, ie. "St. Catharines Pump 2, and Rescue 1 respond too ......." with the exception of Wainfleet Twp. who are dispatched by Municipality, ie. "Wainfleet Firefighters respond too...." since they run an ALL CALL process.
