Franklin County Radio ID Logic

Radio ID logic for Franklin County is essentially the same as used on the previous Motorola Type II systems, except are preceded by 25 (the county number) instead of 7.

  • y = Apparatus Type
    • 0 = Misc
    • 1 = Engine
    • 2 = Ladder
    • 3 = Rescue
    • 4 = Squad or EMS Supervisor
    • 5 = Medic

    • 7 = Tanker
    • 8 = Bomb Squad
    • 9 = Haz-Mat
  • z = Radio Type
    • 0 = Mobile Radio
    • 1 = Portable 1
    • 2 = Portable 2
    • 3 = Portable 3
    • 4 = Portable 4 or base radio
    • 5 = Second Mobile Radio or Station Car
    • 6 = Hose Wagon/Telesquirt
    • 7 = Foam Truck
    • 8 = Personnel Transporter
    • 9 = Extra apparatus
