General Information
The Pennsylvania Air National Guard's 171st Air Refueling Wing is based at the Pittsburgh Air National Guard Base, co-located with the Pittsburgh International Airport.
The mission of the Wing is to staff, equip, and maintain combat flying and combat support units to augment the U.S. Air Force.
The Wing supports, maintains and operates 16 KC-135T Stratotanker aircraft serving in air refueling and transport sorties around the world.
