Note that these scanners cannot be computer controlled, or perform logging operations while scanning. It's not provided for in the firmware
Software
With the exception of Scancat (which has its own Yahoo group) the authors of the other programs can be reached on the software forum.

Rebanding Support
As of this writing, none of these scanners are Rebanding capable. A fix from GRE is expected in the 1Q 2009; note that the firmware for the GRE radios cannot be loaded into the equivalent RS model. Once GRE issues their fixes, it is expected that RS will follow suit shortly thereafter.
Once the various software distributors have begun to support rebanding (through the entry of custom tables), the procedures will be documented here.
