General Information

  • The old analog system used 855.0375/810.0375 at each site with different input PL tones at each site. It is not known if the analog repeaters are still online, since this frequency pair is still licensed at most of the sites.
  • The new digital system went online in November 2015. This is a conventional (non-trunked) DMR (or MOTOTRBO?) system with five IP site connect multicast sites in Comanche, Jackson and Tillman counties in Oklahoma, and Wichita and Wilbarger counties in Texas. According to an FCC license application attachment there is also a systemwide simplex talkaround frequency. It is not known if the talkaround frequency is digital or analog.
  • There are presently no digital scanners capable of receiving DMR or MOTOTRBO. It can be received using DSD, WinDSD or DSDPlus to decode the output of a discriminator tapped receiver or certain SDR receivers.
