  • ALL LE TGs will be encrypted, but open to all LE agencies (with governance). Shall NOT be used by NON-LE agencies. (used Interop groups instead)
  • PSAP to PSAP Talkgroup: provides a direct IP network communication link between PSAPs, should be kept to minimal use. Only accessed by dispatch personnel. Should NOT be used to request official police/fire action.
  • FIRE NET Talkgroup: direct link between Law and Fire PSAPs with the ability to pass mission critical notification to another agency. Not used for paging or toning out another agency. All paging should be on VHF Fire Mutual Aid.
  • ISSI Talkgroups (Inter-RF SubSystem Interface) P25 systems to have interoperable talkgroups provisioned to allow radio coverage on "foreign" radio systems via connectivity through an ISSI Gateway and radio system links between the differing P25 radio systems. These links could be T1, T3, fiber, microwave or other connection methods
