Purchased the scanner about 1 year ago..I live in a valley in the State of Louisiana and I had to get a special antenna to receive talk groups my area...since that time..real pleased with the preformance of this scanner..I am next trying a bearcat 780xlt, which I have on order, and soon will post my finding on this scanner...Thanks
