The 127th Wing of the Michigan Air National Guard consists of the 107th Fighter Squadron (the "Red Devils") and the former 171st Airlift Squadron (the "Michigan Six Pack").  Up until the fall of 2007, the 171st ALS operated eight C-130E aircraft which are now retired. The 107th FS currently flies eighteen F-16C/D's and by 2009, the 171st will convert to twelve KC-135R's.
