Radio System

The Alfred E. Smith Building Repeaters are used for Police & Fire Zone 1 and Zone 3, which are linked together. The Corning Tower Building Repeaters are used for "Fail Safe" failure of Smith Building Tower Repeaters. The Radios would be manually switched to Zone 2. Zone 2 and Zone 4 are on Corning Tower Repeaters and are linked together. Anyone who activates an "Emergency Button" on their radio on either building that is Non-Fire Department, will be switched to a Police Frequency so the Police Dispatcher can handle the Emergency. The Fire Department Emergency Button stays with the Fire Dispatcher.
