Introduction

  • Separate specialty channels employed by SWAT and Narcotics/Vice are covered in their respective Wiki sections under the Police.
  • Pittsburgh fire has someone on radio watch. There are no tones for the station. The stations know which fire zones they are to respond to and it is given on dispatch. If a second confirmed structure comes in, that will operate on fire Ch. 1. If the first structure is pretty well under control, the incident commander makes the decision if they will move off of Fire 2 or not. They do have the abilities to use PD 5, ops as well. I have not heard them do this too often.
