Welcome to the American Electric Power P25 TRS collaboration article. This is where you, the user, may index any articles you develop for scanning related topics for this Trunked Radio System.

This is a Phase II P25 multi-state, multisubsidiary trunked system being built out by AEP to replace EDACS systems within their service territory. The subsidiaries are:

AEP Ohio - serving Ohio and the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia AEP Texas - serving Texas Appalachian Power - serving West Virginia, Virginia and a tiny portion of Tennessee Indiana-Michigan Power - serving Indiana and Michigan Kentucky Power - serving Kentucky Public Service Company of Oklahoma - serving Oklahoma Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) - serving Louisiana, Arkansas, East Texas and the North Texas Panhandle
