The Bearcat 350 was produced by Uniden predecessor Electra. It was intended to be the successor to the BC300 The unit covered 30-50, VHF-Air, 138-174, and 406-512 MHz. Fifty memory channels in five banks were provided as well as a search function. Individual channels could be locked out during scan.
The big innovation was that the user could assign an 8-character alpha-numeric tag to each memory channel. Unfotunately, the technology was a few years ahead of it's time and didn't function reliably.
