Product Information

CENTRACOM Elite™ is a software based radio dispatch control center manufactured by Motorola, which features an intuitive, easy to use, graphical screen that runs under Microsoft Windows® 2000. Most PSAP's use the Gold product line of this product, and commonly refer to these terminals as Gold Elite instead of CENTRACOM Elite.

CENTRACOM Elite consoles support the following types of radio systems -

Trunked System Programming

On a Trunked Radio System, CENTRACOM Elite terminals will use a unique radio ID for every talkgroup, on every terminal, which differs from Motorola's MCC7500 consoles which use 1 Radio ID for the entire console.

  • The order of the talkgroups is customizable by the system administrator
  • Consoles are limited to 100 talkgroups each

A couple examples of how a PSAP may choose to set up a PSAP with 10 consoles and 3 talkgroups per discipline are as follows -
