District & Zone Boundaries

Unit Numbering

When a CPS member comes on shift they are are assigned to a section of their district, let's say District 3, Zone 2. They will go and get the keys for their unit, if they are in 3-2 then the unit will be 1 (Radio Car) 3 (District) 2 (Zone) 5 (Unit) for a call of 1325. The number they voice on the radio is the physical unit on the top and side of the cars for identification from other responding officers, and HAWC's overhead.
