Calvert County has several trunked radio systems (TRS) as well as a few conventional frequencies.

County Public Safety and Government
Calvert County is currently switching all public safety communications over to a new P25 Phase 2 TRS. The legacy Motorola SmartNet TRS is still operational and traffic can be heard on both systems.
