Cape Breton Regional Municipality has begun using standard zone and numbering scheme for its fire stations. Note that stations dispatched by CBRM Communications Dispatch, but which are not part of Cape Breton county (example Ross Ferry, Ingonish, Ingonish Beach, Loch Lomond, Baddeck), do not use this numbering scheme.
