[[Category:Trunking Scanners]]

Revision as of 15:48, 27 July 2009

This category page will be used to detail those trunktrackers that will trunk only analog systems. Digital trunking with these scanners is not possible because they lack the features required to decode digital signals other than standard control channels.

The following list includes scanners that will no longer correctly track most Motorola systems after Rebanding takes place. EDACS or LTR systems work fine when new frequencies are programmed. Please see the linked article for more information.

  • Uniden Scanners
    • BC245XLT
    • BC895XLT
    • BC780XLT
  • Radio Shack
    • No firm information is currently available on anything except the PRO-528. It is possible that the Pro-97 and 2055 will need a board swap to support rebanding. The original Pro-92 may be supported; however, the Pro-92A and Pro-92B may not. RS has stated that the PRO-528 can be upgraded by the user
