Christian County, KY is located south at the border of Montgomery County, TN and Fort Campbell, KY. Christian County has the small city of Hopkinsville, with a population of 31,577 in 2010.

The county switched to NXDN NEXEDGE 9600 baud trunked system in 2019 and decided to encrypt all units from all departments on the system. But they kept all dispatcher traffic open to allow media access to breaking news events.
