Revision as of 17:26, 9 June 2012

Cleveland County Sheriff's Office

CCSO deputies have VHF and 800-MHz radios. Even with access to several OKWIN sites -- Norman, Tecumseh, Shawnee, Lexington and Oklahoma City -- there are still dead spots in eastern Cleveland County. The VHF repeater on 154.265 MHz, known as Low-band is used to fill these gaps. This repeater was replaced with MotoTRBO-capable hardware in 2010.

CCSO also provides patrol service to Town of Slaughterville.

City of Norman

All Norman City services are on the State of Oklahoma Trunked system. Norman has a two-site simulcast system. One site is atop the Energy Building on the University of Oklahoma Campus, the other is east of town near Lake Thunderbird. Originally a stand-alone system, owned by the City of Norman, it has been incorporated into the state system. Police, Fire and EMS Units can use adjoining sites in the system. Public works units cannot.

Norman Police

Norman Police are asigned beats by shift. So Adam 1 may be Baker 1 on a different shift. Norman beatmap04aLg.gif
