Information

This is the Coastal Bend Regional Interoperability Network, which is administered by the Coastal Bend Council of Governments. Harris Radio, Inc. won the contract for this system, and it will fully support Phase II TDMA modulation in the future. This Project 25 TRS, will eventually replace the older legacy radio systems that are currently in place. When finished in late 2014, this system will not only cover the following counties, but all public safety first responders on this system will be able to communicate on other neighboring Project 25 trunking systems:

  • Aransas
  • Bee
  • Brooks
  • Duval
  • Jim Wells
  • Kenedy
  • Live Oak
  • McMulen
  • Nueces
  • Refugio
  • San Patricio

The Nueces County Tower is currently offline.
