Custer County Radio Guide

Custer County mainly uses county owned analog repeaters for law, fire, and EMS. Custer County does also use South Dakota State Digital System as well, but due to their rocky terrain they are unable to use portables in many areas. Custer County is dispatched out of the Custer Sheriff's Office under the call sign 21-1.

Custer County Law

Custer SO mainly uses Custer SO Cicero and Custer SO Bear Mtn for their dispatching. Custer SO Does also use TG 20592 for dispatching, but only as a secondary dispatch channel. Custer State Park also lies within Custer County. Custer State park is patrolled by state game wardens as well as conservation officers. The wardens and conservations officers use either the analog Custer SO channels, or the CSP law channels, all listed below. Listed Below as well is the TG for the local Highway Patrol troop.
