System Information

Initially built as a county-wide simulcast, this system was plagued with multi-path distortion that jeopardized coverage integrity in some areas. In an attempt to alleviate this problem, the Buxton simulcast was reconfigured as a stand-alone site.

Site 1 simulcasts from the following locations: Kitty Hawk, Manns Harbor, Stumpy Point, Bodie Island, and Rodanthe. Site 2 is stand-alone, but carries all traffic from the simulcast.
