As of 2016 the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources (DENR) no longer exists. The new name is Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).
Many natural resource programs formerly managed by the DENR have been reassigned to the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR).
