Dirt Track Racing - Scanner Frequencies Used at Individual Tracks

  • Note that when track ownership changes, the frequency(s) used at the track often change as well.

Raceceiver

  • Raceceiver is used at some tracks and by some series to inform the drivers about track conditions, wrecks, what order to line-up in, etc. This a good frequency to put in whenever you go to a race track in case they are using Raceceiver. You can hear what the drivers are hearing!. The Raceceiver frequency is often 454.000, but it could be any frequency between 450-470 MHz.

Livingston County Sheriff's Deputies provide police protection at the track. The deputies use the 460.100 (192.8) repeater if needing to contact LIVCOM while at the track. South East Livingston County Ambulance Service (SELCAS EMS) provides ambulance coverage for the track. SELCAS uses the 460.600 (110.9) repeater to communicate with LIVCOM while at the track. SECLAS was also heard using 458.625 (107.2) FD/EMS ch 6 in simplex mode at the track.

Farmer City Ambulance provides medical coverage at the track. Visitors should monitor 158.775 (repeater output) or 153.755 (repeater input) 141.3 PL for ambulance radio transmissions during the races. (This repeater is shared with Farmer City PD, so police units at the race track will also be on this channel).

Eldora Speedway is the annual home of the biggest late model race of the year, the World 100. At the 2007 World 100, Raceceiver radios were not used during the heat races (source), but were used during the feature race (source).

  • The weekly UMP Modified and Advance Auto Parts Stock divisions is using the Raceceiver channel 1409 which has been confirmed to be 467.600 (CSQ). source

  • Eldora Speedway is listed as using 154.600 and 151.600 at two different websites (source 1) (source 2) but neither of these were heard used by track personnel on 5/12/07
