Weather Siren Tones (154.1300 Mhz)

Severe weather warnings and activation of severe weather sirens is done through a set of eight (8) two-tone alerts, followed by Group Calls for County Fire and County EMS. Activation is done by County E911 dispatch.

County EMA utilizes cellular services for text notification of weather alerts.

County EMA coordinates primary Skywarn operations on the KB9LHX repeater in Jasper on (147.195 Mhz with 107.2 PL), with auxiliary operations on the N9MZF repeater (444.675 Mhz with 107.2 PL).
