Forsyth County EMS

The EMS Division of Forsyth County Emergency Services is 24-hr paramedic-level service operating from multiple locations across Forsyth County. FCEMS is a 9-1-1-only service and does NOT handle convalescent transports. Those types of transport are handled by two private EMS providers (NuCare Carolina Ambulance, Inc., and LifeStar Emergency Services). The private providers respond to BLS 9-1-1 calls as requested by Communications (a/k/a "Control").

When a call requires both fire and EMS response, units are switched to "Med TAC 1" (TG 33904) so to be able to communicate with responding fire units.
