  • Code 1A - False alarm report taken

Note: These codes are used in Franklin County and most of Central Ohio. Some agencies in Central Ohio make occasional use of certain Sheriff's codes, although this is slowly being discontinued in favor of Incident Command System and NFPA recommendations for plain language.

These codes are used by Franklin County Sheriff and police departments dispatched by them in Franklin County: Franklin County Sheriff, Clinton Twp, Minerva Park, Blendon Twp, Mifflin Twp, Brice, Obetz, Madison Twp, and Groveport. Self-dispatched agencies in Franklin County using these codes are Dublin, Gahanna and New Albany, which use their own clearance codes.
