This multi-site simulcast system is the Public Service system for Franklin County, and is the primary backup system for most users of the Public Safety system. Owned by Franklin County and administered with oversight by the Central Ohio Communications Advisory Committee, it is used by most non-public safety operations of the City of Columbus and Franklin County, as well as several suburban cities and townships. Other suburbs are gradually joining the system as well. Simulcast site locations are in downtown Columbus and northeastern Franklin County.
